Maintain your routine easy

Why your skin will thank you for it

It is easy to fall into the trap of piling up skin care products in the hope of finding a solution.

However, chopping and changing your routine, or overloading your skin regularly with too many products, can upset your skin even more, especially if you have sensitive skin. And you will likely also see additional flare-ups, breakouts, or dryness.

If you feel that your skin is a little out of control, it's a good idea to shorten your routine for a while. Here are some pointers to help you get started.

Keep it simple

If your skin feels uncomfortable, only a two- or three-step routine is required. The shorter the routine, the easier it is to stick to it!

Try the basic routine cleaning, toning and moistening morning and evening. Or Moisture in the morning. Give your skin a thorough cleanse in the evening followed by Facial Oil .

It's about finding a routine that works for you and making it a habit.

Steps You Can Skip

face wash

If you have cleaned your face thoroughly at night, your skin will still be clean and fresh in the morning. Over-cleaning can dry out the skin. This causes the skin to produce more oil and can cause an oily complexion.

Instead of reaching for the facial detergent, simply splash your face with warm water and massage it gently to wake the skin.

Double cleaning

Do you opt for double cleaning to remove makeup? Don't try to throw too many products on your skin. Makeup removers often contain sulfates, alcohols, and synthetic fragrances that can make the skin firm and irritated – even when used with a gentle cleanser.

Use a small amount of your regular detergent again for a second cleaning or use coconut oil to break up the eye make-up before cleaning.

Choose an ultra-gentle peel like our Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator removes dead skin cells without irritation. Keep things simple and exfoliate once a week or less if you think this is right for you.
