Recipe: The Inexperienced Goddess from TART London

One of our favorite things (especially on long summer evenings!) Is cooking with friends.

We met foodies and friends Lucy and Jemima from Fashion & Film Shoot Caterers TART London to find out what they like to cook for a crowd.

Our green goddess is one of my favorites. I do it for brunch, lunch, and dinner – it's perfect if you find that you were a little garbage eating your greens but can't stand the thought of another green juice! This gives you a nutritional hit and it's really delicious! "- Lucy

Ingredients (for 2-3 people):

2 finely chopped cloves of garlic

1 stalk of ginger, peeled and chopped

1 green chili, seeds removed and finely chopped

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/2 cup sherry

500 ml fresh chicken or vegetable broth

250 ml coconut water

1 tsp Misopaste

1 lime peel and juice

A heaping handful of each: leek (chopped in rounds), broccoli (cut into florets), baby spinach, cavalo nero and chard (roughly chopped), edamame, peas and broad beans (peeled), sugar snap peas, green beans and asparagus ( roughly cut)

A handful of mint, dill and basil roughly chopped

Noodle of your choice, cooked and set aside

2-3 free-range eggs, either poached or soft-boiled and halved

A small handful of toasted seeds.

A pinch of dried chillies, salt and pepper

How to:

Heat a large pan with a little olive oil or coconut oil over medium heat.

Add leek, garlic, ginger, chilli, and roast until lightly colored, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Add the turmeric and stir for about a minute.

Add sherry, broth, coconut water and miso paste and simmer for a few minutes to reduce them.

If you make an egg to get on top of it, this is the time to prepare it.

Put all the greens in the broth and let them cook for about a minute – you still want the greens to be crispy.

Stir in pasta and season.

Serve in a heated bowl with an egg over it. Sprinkle with mixed herbs, roasted seeds, dried chilies and salt and pepper.
