We reply your most often requested questions in regards to the SPF

Try to post as much information as possible on our packaging, website, and on Instagram and Facebook when it comes to launching a new product. Our customers still have a lot of good questions. Shortly after our last launch, Hello Sunshine SPF 30, we thought you might find the answers to our most frequently asked questions helpful.

Q: Should Hello Sunshine be used with a day cream or can it be used instead of one?
A: Although it has moisturizing properties, a sun protection factor is not enough. Just provide the skin with moisture, so we recommend applying a moisturizer underneath.

Q: I have skin prone to blemishes. Could this make my outbreaks worse?
A: It is suitable for all skin types. However, SPFs are notoriously thick products to protect your skin from UV rays. Even if you don't wear makeup, it's important to cleanse twice every night to make sure everything is removed. This avoids errors and traffic jams.

Q: Do I have to apply again during the day? As soon as I put on my make up and go to work, I can't see myself again.
A: Hello, Sunshine should be worn all day under the make-up. It should not be necessary to apply again unless you spend a long time outdoors and are exposed to direct sunlight.

Q: Can it be used during pregnancy?
A: It is entirely up to you and how well you know about essential oils. For security reasons, however, we recommend using it from the second trimester. Here you will find our pregnancy-safe products that can be used from the first day of your pregnancy.

Q: Is it suitable for eczema?
A: We use non-irritating ingredients and a patch test for sensitive and eczema-prone skin, so you know you are in safe hands.

Q: Is the SPF gluten free?
A: Yes! It's gluten-free, but there are some derivatives of wheat … however, the gluten proteins themselves don't seep into the product.

Q: Is it suitable for dry skin? I heard somewhere that zinc can dry out.
A: Our sun protection factor was developed for all skin types, including dry and dehydrated skin. We also use jojoba oil, which has a good affinity for the skin and helps it to stay hydrated in the sun.

Q: Can the packaging be recycled?
A: Yes! The pipe itself is made of polyethylene from sugar cane and can therefore be recycled. The cap is made of polypropylene and can be recycled (you may need to contact your local recycling company first). Both must be washed out and recycled separately.
